Criminal Justice Certificates
These Certificates provide students with an understanding of the main components of the Criminal Justice System including law enforcement agencies, court systems, correctional organizations, community system and the way the criminal justice system operate on federal, provincial and municipal level in responding to criminal acts, according to Canadian law and Policy. These certificates are intended for general interest and/or for front line staff working in correction, law enforcement, probation/parole, counseling and social work field who want to enhance their knowledge of criminology, forensic mental health system, and develop skills in working with offenders and hard-to-serve clients with mental health problem or involved with gangs and other criminal activities.
